35 years later...

The grind

Nothing beats working for yourself. This job will let me start on a new project bike as well as pay off a few bills.


Finally finished this bathroom. 3 Week bathroom. All new vanity and sink, travertine floors and walls with 5/8 inch square green inlay decos. $8,000 in tile.

Straight up work, but this is what allows me to live the fuck around life style I have become so accustomed to over the last 25 years or so.

The day started with Bacon and eggs with screwdrivers to drink. Then on the road for a day long ride through the Austin hill country with the guys.

Once home it was the usual gathering on the back porch. Neely on the guitar, the rest of us on the bottle. Drank and smoked til almost daylight. The usual weeknight for the Back Porch.

I must say though, the boy manned up and paid his debt. I rolled over to his apartment for him to wash my dearest Lulu for me. A crowd gathered with their own phone cameras too. lmao
